It is with great sadness that we heard of the death of Henry Worsley in his valiant attempt to cross Antartica completely unaided. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-35398552
We supplied Dorset Flapjacks to Henry and his team when they re-enacted the centenary of the Race to the South Pole between Amundsen and Scott in 2011 and because of that I met him on 3 or 4 occasions. He was incredibly humble, interesting and charming and it was never all about him. He will be sadly missed by any one that met him and Britain has lost a great man.
