We have decided that we will create a nut free environment in our bakery.
Whilst this may upset a few customers who enjoy nuts in our Dorset Flapjacks it is hoped that this will remove the need to put 'May contain Nuts' on every bar that we make and will enable people with a nut allergy to have some confidence in consuming our flapjacks.
We currently only make one flavour including nuts and that is the Chocolate Fruit and Nut variety which contained a variety of mixed nuts. This flavour has been discontinued as a single flavour box and is running out of the mixed boxes 2 and 4 which contain it. It is envisaged that by the end of July 2024 there will be no more nuts in the bakery nor any of the bars on site.
It is being replaced by a new flavour, Double Chocolate. This bar has cocoa powder in the flapjack mix and is then covered with our usual delicious chocolate topping and is already available to order on the Flapjacks page.
